SHW Live Olympia London 2025

I was recently at SHW Live, a two-day event 18 - 19 June 2025 held at Olympia London. Attending shows is a great way of networking, learning, and discovering new products, services, and suppliers. It was also an opportunity for me to speak too, in my role as an Ambassador for IIRSM. The title of my talk was ‘Zero harm to infinite value - making risk management attractive from C-Suite to Coalface’. I took the opportunity to discuss how in my professional practice I engage at all levels, and used my ‘Safety Six’ framework.

A mostly positive show, the only negative was the wifi - Olympia London is a Faraday Cage so limited mobile signal, and the complimentary wifi very poor (0.5 Mbps) with the so-called premium wifi £10 for one hour at a measly 4 Mbps! Oh, and being an idiot I bought a can of coke - only £3.50!

Fortunately for me I was invited to attend the Leaders Summit at the event on Day Two, so had access to a spearate lounge with complimentary drinks.
